Furmio

Furmio is an innovative online platform that empowers users to design custom furniture tailored to their specific needs and preferences. By offering an intuitive configurator, Furmio enables individuals to create personalized furniture pieces, ensuring a perfect fit for their spaces and styles. The platform streamlines the entire process from design to delivery, making custom furniture accessible and straightforward for everyone.

Developing a user-friendly and responsive furniture configurator posed significant challenges. The goal was to create a tool that allowed for extensive customization options while maintaining simplicity and ease of use. Additionally, integrating this configurator with a seamless ordering and manufacturing workflow required a robust and scalable solution to handle complex design data and ensure accurate production.

To address these challenges, we implemented a modern web application architecture. The frontend was developed using React.js, providing a dynamic and responsive user interface for the configurator. On the backend, we utilized Node.js with an Express framework to handle API requests efficiently. A PostgreSQL database was employed to manage user designs and order information securely. The system was deployed on a cloud-based infrastructure.
